LocumPlan is a trading style of Med-Ex Financial Advisory Services Limited.
Med-Ex has provided locum insurance through Lloyd's of London since 1999, setting up a specialist division, LocumPlan, in 2004.
Med-Ex specialises in providing a personal and professional service to members of the medical and dental professions and their employees. Med-Ex offers advice on investment, life and health insurance, pension planning, mortgage and re-mortgage.
As specialists in the medical field, Med-Ex is also experienced in arranging practice finance as well as having a wealth of knowledge in the specialist area of the NHS Pension Scheme for general practitioners, dentists and hospital doctors.
LocumPlan, which is underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyd's, has been arranged by Med-Ex to contribute towards or meet the costs of a locum incurred by, for example, medical, dental, veterinary and ophthalmology practices if one of the doctors, dentists, vets or a senior practice staff member is ill or has an accident.
