The duration of LocumPlan cover is 12 months. This means that we will contact you shortly before the renewal date to ask you whether you would like to change the cover if, for example, new people have joined the practice. You will also have the opportunity to alter the weekly sum insured and other features of the cover such as the excess period.

We will then tell you the terms on which you can renew your cover for a further year. If there has been a claim then it is possible that cover will not be offered for the 'claimed for' condition
